When you pick the game you want to play you will have a ride through one of three timezones Triassic Tour, Jurassic Jungle and Cretaceous Corner. Their are nine activities featured in the game including: "Save the Dinosaur", "Dinosaur movies" and "3D Dinosaur Museum", "Create a Saurus", "Photo Safari", "Dinosaur Encyclopedia", "Name a Saurus", "Make a Match" and "Dinosaur Storybook". Also included with the package is an authentic fossil.ģD Dinosaur Adventure is an educational game that gives info about Dinosaurs and early life on earth. New to this version is a separate disc with a small program called "Art-a-Saurus" which lets the player make pictures using paint, moving dinosaurs or non moving ones, music and lots of backgrounds to choose from. I know it's just an educational game, but I think it's something that deserves to be preserved, especially with how little info and content I could find on it online, even with how popular the KA Adventure games were in the 90s.The Anniversary Edition is a re-release of the original game 3-D Dinosaur Adventure.

(I rotated the pics, I don't know why they're sideways in the post) If it gets selected to go on the server, I'll take some proper scans of the jewel case labels and disk for the formal submission. The game won't start on modern Windows, but runs just fine in any virtual machine running Windows 2000/ME and below.īelow are some pics of the jewel case I own along side the disk, and a download link to the MDF incase anyone wants to try it out. I also found out that it comes packaged with an extremely primitive combat flight sim called F4U Secret Sortie, which was originally released for DOS, and either runs on some sort of DOS emulator, or actually boots your system into DOS to play it. It's got an aircraft encyclopedia, an aircraft showroom where you learn about certain planes, a theater portion that plays some juicy 256 color video clips, a section that shows you how to make different kinds of paper airplanes, and a demo of the cult classic Mac game Glider that opens externally from the main game once launched. It's a simple educational game with an aviation theme. When I got older I tried scouring the web for an ISO or some other disk image, but I never found one, so I bought a boxed copy on eBay about a year and a half ago.

This was a childhood favorite of mine, but I lost the disk when I was about 9 or 10.

This is a very old (and from what I understand, rare, I could be wrong) educational game developed by Knowledge Adventure back in 1996 as part of the "Adventure" line of games alongside titles like 3D Dinosaur Adventure and 3D Body Adventure.
